Help with a few things

When I selected y to use an item and a to break an item, I was unable to back out of the menu. The only choice I had was to actually break an item. I wanted to cycle through some of the choices, but now I'm a bit gun-shy.

Also, how do I interact with things around me using the items in inventory? For instance, lets say I have a webbing adjacent to me, covering a corridor. How do I use my torch to burn the webbing? Can I use inventory items on another item?

potion of mending, How?

I feel bad for posting such a petty question here but I am pretty baffled.

I have an injured backpack and I have a potion of mending. Should be simple to use. I have tried drinking the potion and applying the potion to the back pack. The only message I ever get is "(resource zero) backpack is unaffected" ???

Anybody have a solution or work around, or should I just throw the potion at the nearest monster?

I don't have anything come up when I pick "Scoreboard" from the main menu. Is there something I should do or is it just not implemented yet ?
I've also had a paladin turn away from good for attacking Zombies as well, which seems to make no sense, but meh.

Hi there, I hope someone can help.

I have been playing incursion for a short while now (since christmas maybe?) and it seems to be the only roguelike i can actually become engaged with.

A few weeks ago i was given, very kindly, by my employer an old (but not as old as mine) laptop. This one runs on windows xp pro. For some reason Incursion refuses to run on it. It claims there is no file known as "mod," in the incursion folder. This is true, but what should be in there? Why is it not there? Can i fix this some how? I have tried, possibly naively, to create a folder called mod and hoped for the best. This, naturally, didn't work.

Come on guys, there must be a bunch of people playing this awesome game. Probably the most advanced, fun roguelike I've ever played. Any chance of us grouping together and sharing stories by campfire (yeah I exaggerate on purpose, but you get the point), getting a forum or such?

Obscurement

My 5th level human ranger cast obscurement on himself and now cannot get rid of it. I don't have nature sense so it's blocking my line of sight. I have tried using 'x' to remove it, sleeping, descending to another level and dimension door with no effect. Any ideas?

Gods' favor levels

Is there an unified chart for how much favor you need with a god to increase your level with him/her?
IME reaching up to level 3 with Sabine was very easy, but now I'm stuck in level 3 for quite some time, and my favor is almost 4000.

There is no reason to replicate the official manual. It is huge. To wikify it would take too much time. Also the official manual may be subject to change. Who will maintain it?

I vote that to eliminate redundancy, we remove the replicated internal manual.

More useful is a summarized manual integrated into the strategy guide. E.g. Currently we have Gods: benefits per level. Races: pros and cons at a glance.

This is much more useful as a reference.

Right now it is possible to edit the information in Wiki easily. Was it meant to be this way? Is it supposed to be like a free knowledge database? Can I contribute to this project / edite pages / write useful information in?

I would like to know, which commands are currently implemented, and what do they work on. For example I tried to give a human ally a weapon but nothing happened. There wasn't even any message. Also when I tried to dig into a gravestone/open floor my available space mined got lowered. Another time I tried to treat a disease which needed 3 passed saves in a row to be treated and funnily enough even though I had 3 checks out of 3 passed the disease didn't disappear. Eh I think I'm gonna get used to that;)

Want to change the title of a section

I have made some additions to this section(user interface, use item menu, tactical combat menu) but i want to add more tips and tricks that i wouldn't call "general". I would like to change "General Tips for Survival" to "Tips & Tricks" Is this acceptable?

Unable to play - cannot initalize graphics

Every time I try to load the game, I get the error "Incursion cannot initialize graphics and thus must terminate." What am I doing wrong?
